I don't have any thank-yous, but I should be unpacking/painting/ and or job hunting

But I'm here at the library to use the internet, (we dont have it yet, because we are poor) and catch up with my peeps. So, back in STL. I have to admit I was starting to miss it already when I was back home, but now that I'm back its not the same, because there is no more 3M, and its just me in an empty apartment. Although Sam decided that it is her apartment too now, and is over frequently. She even spent the night last night, and Ruth decided that there is no way Sam and Will can be at our apartment at the same time, and dubbed the balcony Sam and I's time out spot. She will just lock us out there, although I still think we can have plenty of fun and be hyper in a tiny space hanging 40 ft above the ground.

Speaking of time out's though. I need a time out from life. Seriously. I have like $20 left after paying for cable, and next months rent, and no food. I am poor and starving. But those are the least of my problems. I will surely die from idiocy before long. Yesterday night (or last night, whatever) I severely burnt popcorn, and Ruth threw it on the balcony to get the clouds of smoke out of the kitchen (they obviously didn't bother the fire alarm...good to know) and then like 3 minutes later I was moving a bunch of my "office supplies" to my desk from a box and my stapler squished itself on my finger, and the staple went ALL THE WAY into my finger...I just kinda yelled, "Holy shit! There's a staple in my finger!" and Ruth was on the phone with her mom and came running as I was pulling it out..maybe not the brightest thing to do instantly, but dammit, I had a fricken staple in my finger, the only thing I was thinking about was getting it the hell outta there.

Then Sam came over, and I asked her to lift my bed up a little so I could slide a box out from under it, and as I did so, she lowered the bed, and my scar tissue forming from my burn on my hand all got ripped off along with a few more layers of skin. It hurt. If it wasn't the size of the grand canyon I would need stitches, but I don't think you can get them when you have no skin on your hand to start with.

Okay, so I'm exaggerating a little, but my whole burn scar is ripped off, and will surely scar over again now, but worse.

How in the hell did I think that I (a three year old) would be able to live on my own? I can't even play with a stapler, why would I entrust my own life to myself.

Oh well. I'm learning things. Like how organizing and paying bills is super important...and puncture wounds heal faster than ripped/torn skin...Eh, I better learn how to live now, while I can, or I'll be kicking myself for it when I'm 90--and that's how you break a hip, folks.

May 14-26, making up for the non-posting

Okay, so it is time for a new post. There is so much that has occurred since the last significant post that i'm kinda upset that nobody has done a long post. That is what i am here to do, but since there's a lot that has occurred i'll try and put all that i remember. First of all we graduated. And it was an amazing i was so impressed with my class. I couldn't ask for a better group. The speeches literally brought me to tears. I was thankful for all of those that made speeches, even those that don't read this, i was still thankful. But for those of you that do read this (Maggie, Ann?, & Charley) thank you for having Marc be apart of the day, you have no idea how much that means to me. Another thank you to Charley for the bands, i will wear mine until it falls off my wrist and can't be put back on, then i'll beat up Maggie, steal her's, and continue to wear the bracelet until the day i die.

May 14-15
After graduation, and for Maggie before, there were the receptions. I was really happy because there were several people from Omaha that drove up just to see me. It was really nice. I also was happy that so many of my friends dropped by. I also enjoyed getting to attend my friend's receptions. They were all a lot of fun. Then there was gift opening, something that is much more enjoyable to participate in than watch. ;) I received many nice gifts, thank you to all of you that gave me something, a card will be in the mail by this time next year :P, and hopefully i'll have my graduation presents for all of you soon enough, but i need to know what you guys still need. After going to Charley's reception we took a walk down the Sandy Mile where we got a ride from a man with no legs to help him with his wheel chair, what nice young kids we are.

May 16
On Monday there was the hearing, it was very boring because it was basically all executive session, but thank you for all of your support, it was greatly appreciated. Afterwards we went out for ice cream at the Kozy. Which was another thing that i really enjoyed, it's great to see that your friends support you. Then we went and watched National Treasure, it's a good movie that's a lot of fun.

May 17
Then Tuesday was a nice day with a breeze, so what better thing to do than go and fly kites. So me, Steph, Holly, and later JON went and flew kites at the softball field. It was a lot of fun, but a little too windy. And since it was Maggie's first day of work we knew that she would feel left out since she never got to go with us. So 2 hours, 8 dollars, and one trip to the bargain basement later we pimped Maggie's ride. We covered her car in 10 different kites, tails included. That night after baseball it was a little stormy so we were camping out in the bowling alley waiting for Holly. Then me, Ann, Holly, and Steph came to my house to watch Closer, which is an extremely messed up movie. Maggie, i suggest that you don't watch it. It ruined everything that i believed about an "honest" relationship.

May 18
On Wednesday i was hanging out with Steph and we were really bored so we came up with a new creative idea. Let's pimp Maggie's ride. No, i'm not repeating myself, we pimped her ride, twice! This time we used old news papers that needed recycled. It worked well. Then i had to go to the pool meeting, which was pretty pathetic, we didn't really discuss anything. Afterwards it was off to the Eurodizzle's Badminton Party. It was a lot of fun, and had really good food. Then some of us went swimming out at the river and then returned to the party to play ping-pong.

May 19
For me Thursday was just a lot of nothing because i found out that Mr. Young wanted me to participate in golf practice on Friday morning. So that's about all i have to say about that.

May 20
On Friday i went to golf and baseball practice. That night me, Steph, Maggie, and Charley played board games at Steph's house. It was a ton o' fun. One hint. |_|.... GRAND CANYON!!! How did you guess that? One mind.

May 21
On Saturday I went to Guess Who with Tyler. It was really fun. But since it was just me and him, that doesn't matter much for this post.

May 22
On Sunday we tried to get everyone together to go Paddle boating out at the lake, but some people had to work, and others had some stuff that had to get done. So me, Steph, and Holly went out to the lake to paddle boat, and ended up using a really crappy two person paddle boat for the three of us. Then Maggie joined us for a Desperate Housewives viewing party, but Holly left because she doesn't like the show. Even though we had "CHEESE IN A CAN". It was fun, but then when it was over we ended the night.

May 23
On Monday I went and helped Holly with vacation bible school in Ord. Those kids were pretty good. But this is the day that Steph had to leave, it was sad. On Tuesday night me, Nick, and Ann went to Star Wars Episode Three, it was really fun, but i got really tired so when we got home i went straight to bed.

May 24
Tuesday night we got together to watch movies at Charley's house. It was me, Charley, Nick, Holly, Garrett L., Tyler, and Ann. It was a stormy night so that means perfect conditions for a scary movie. We ended up watching the movie "Saw". It was a really strange movie. Nothing spectacular, but not bad. It was another fun night.

May 25
Wednesday was the day of our first baseball game. It was at Burwell at it was cool because Ann, Jon, Holly, and Maggie came to watch us play, which made me really happy. We lost the game 11-4, but i did pretty well. I hit a double, then the two guys after me hit me in to score. So then we were down 2-1. Then my next at bat we were down 3-1 there were two guys on base and i hit a home run!! It was only my second one ever. It was really cool. My next at bat i struck out, but i had a very big role in every one of our points scored.

May 26
And now it is Thursday and i'm finally finishing this post. Tonight i have baseball practice and then we're getting together to watch movies at Ann's house afterwards. This weekend the pool opens and tomorrow we have to go in to clean. I now am going to actually get an income. It's been a lot of fun getting to hang out and hopefully it will continue.

If any of you have anything to add to this post you can send it to either Steph or I in an e-mail so we can actually add it to the post. Or you can just add the stuff in a comment for us to read. I hope that i got everything that happened. And now i'm finally done.

4 days

It is so hard to believe that in 4 days i will be getting ready for my own graduation. I feel as if i should be in the band playing the music for others that are graduating. This has been a long journey with many bumps and one extremely large hill along the way. There were many points when school was the last thing on my mind. I'm so greatful to all of you, my friends for helping me along on my journey. You were the sun that made sure my path stayed bright so that i wouldn't wander off course. Thank you for being my support group throughout the years, making sure that i always had someone to talk to and a group to hang around with. I'm more greatful to all of you than you will ever know. I just hope that i mean at least a fraction to what all of you mean to me. There are so many great memories that we've shared, and many more memories still to come.(camping, the trip, etc.)I never want to lose contact with any of you. We're too close of a group to let distance break us apart. I hope that you will all make a concious effort to stay in touch. Remember, you are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know Puerto Rico, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away.

I don't know, do we?

Let me know what you want for the page. Your wish is my command. We can do whatever you guys feel is best. If you have any suggestions just let me know. Until then we'll stick with what Steph has set up, unless i get bored with it. Peace Out.

Did we need a make-over?

Okay, Mucho Appreciado goes out to the big blog birthday surprise. It was awesome, and a lovely gesture.

However, it got a little annoying cause it was kinda messed up, so I temporarily fixed it. Reid can put the settings back, cause I don't remember what the heck the blog said before so....for now at least everything looks orderly on my screen. Was it all psycho for anyone else? With all the boxes of text jumbled up and above the blog entries?

Although, I do kinda like these colors...a little more tropic? I feel like I should be playing Maggie's island music when I look at it.

-Steph

Oh yeah, and while your here, go take this quiz:

I was slightly dissapointed to find out I am a 19 year old.
My guestimates: Reid is either 85 or 3, Kayla is probably about 30, and Maggie is...16?
