My teachers are wierd...

So I'm gonna miss class Thurs, and I sent an e-mail to my Audio teacher letting him know ahead of time. This is his response.

Dear Lucky Dog,

Please take me with you! It doesn't matter where you
are going. I'll be quiet and won't eat much. No??
OK....

I am going to show film clips and will discuss the
role of audio in film. You should be able to get
notes.

Be safe and have fun.

Barry

little wierd, eh?

I am now converting to Kayla-ism

Seriously.

I worship the Kayla. She is too awesome.

(If any of you are confused right now, yes--I did get my keys in the mail today)

And I jumped around like a school-girl. Well, technically I suppose I am considered a school girl, so that doesn't make any sense. Or does it make perfect sense? Hmmmm?

Oh yeah, and isn't this dog awesome!? He makes me giggle.

TV has been REALLY good lately!!!

So, in order to tell this story I have to admit that I was watching Martha Stewart Living on Sunday morning....I know, no need to tell me.

Anyways, I had never seen an ep, and saw Rosie O'Donnell and Bill Cosby on, so decided to leave the channel. Which was definitely one of the best decisions of my life. For no longer than 15 mins later...who is on the show, may you ask???

None other than CONAN O'BRIEN!!!! Do you know how HILARIOUS Conan on Martha's show is?? No, cause you probably never saw it, and will therefore never experience those heavenly best 20 mins of you're life. That's right. You missed out.

Okay, so if you think that I was fuh-reaking out about that, then just wait. Yes...it gets better. So after Conan's segment, before they cut to commercials they showed the next guest.....and guess who it was??

C'mon guess....

Ya wanna know?

D'ya wannnnaa know?

It was..........................
........REBA MCENTIRE!!!!!!!!!!!

How amazing is that!!!!

And then, even though I never thought another show could have such an amazing combination of guests, I was watching Letterman tonight with Gwen Sefani!!! I LOVE HER!! AND Sandy Bullock!!!!! I LOVE HER!!!!! (more than Gwen, but ya know she's still a hella good musical guest and interesting interview)

Besides this just being great in itself, it is soooo cool because earlier today I was bored and watched the Revealed: Sandra Bullock on E! and was just thinking about how amazing she is, and how much I love her, and have forgotten about my love for her, so it was very nice for it to be refreshed in my memory, and then watch David Letterman attack her on national tv. Seriously..he bugged her for like 15 mins of her 20 min interview about Jesse James, and is she dating him, and does she hang out with him if she's not, and can he pretend she doesn't know him and talk about him anyway, and how he's handy with motorcycles, and does she ride motorcycles (yes, she's ridden on the back, and on a dirt bike) and who the person is that is on the front of the motorcycle when she rides, and etc etc. Did anyone see that?

I really wish I would've taped it. It was soo hilarious, she was SOO embarassed but didn't want to talk about it. At least she didn't act all bitchy, and "I don't want to talk about it" instead she said that she's not going to say anything, but if her sitting there being embarrassed is good for his show, like those moments right there, then bring it on. It was awesome. Did I mention I love Sandy Bullock?

Funniest story ever!!!!

No, it's not a personal story, but it's hillarious none the less. You all have to read it. http://tv.yahoo.com/news/wwn/20030319/104808600007.html (note who is carrying the story at end of site) But it is hillarious, something i may do in "the future". Hope you have as much fun reading it as I did. (I still need a sign-off)

Trotter's, YAY!!!

Wow, what could be better than spending an hour learning about new ag products? Spending two hours learning about new ag products!!! That may have been the most boring thing ever, but oh well, at least we got good food. But did it really have to take that long, there were two presentations that were exactly the same, even the farmers weren't paying attention to the ag stuff. (I think Jon would have thought it to be the best movie ever though) [I did like the story line, but it needed bigger named actors for it to really take effect, maybe if they actually had "The Beatles" as the beetles; that would have been cool, but there were too many no name actors for it to keep my attention] I love mashed potatoes, i seriously wanted to eat that whole bowl. We performed pretty well, the piece is engraved in our souls, as long as it stays out of my dreams I'll be okay. Hopefully breakfast will be good tomorrow. Oh, i got told that people no longer like my sign off so i'm trying to find a new one, if you have any suggestions let me know. (You have no idea how much i want to use my old sign off to finish this, but i'll fight the urge)
I'm off to bed, I wish you a good night; hopefully tomorrow will be happy and bright.

Oh what a beautiful morning, wait, i got up too late for morning

Hello everyone, it's been a while since i've posted. First of all let me just tell you that i feel very refreshed i never got up until 12:15 this morning.Anyway, last night i had a really good conversation with Kayla, and we discovered that kinda like how i am with Steph, it's the same with Kayla I talk to her more now that's she's gone than when she was here. Which is kinda cool. Steph is coming home today, yay!!! Hopefully she won't get a ticket, that would not be cool. I'm hoping to be able to get together with all of you guys sometime during our break. We'll just have to see. Let me know if you have any ideas. The graduation time is coming nearer, and sometimes i just wish it were here already, but other times i wish we had another year. I don't want to leave all of my friends. Let's just make the best of what we have left. Keep it real. Irish Midget.

Wierdest Thing...

So as most of you know (or should by now) that more times than not a song usually is randomly playing in my head, and that often times I start humming or singing to a song without realizing what it is until that moment arrives where I think to myself, "what song is that?" or I suddenly realize, "Holy crap, I was just singing a Jessica Simpson song! What the hell is wrong with me!"

But today I'm sitting at work humming along, and one of my co-workers turns to me and asks what I'm humming. I paused...and thought for a moment. "What am I humming?" He asked, "Is it a polka song?" and then it hit me....I was humming our school song!!! It was just a very odd moment. Who does that? Sits around idly humming to the school song. Sad thing is, even in my head I was singing the words. I can still hear them faintly even though I'm trying to push the tune away... Oh when the Loup City boys all fall in line...

Super-Size Me (nah)

Ok, I'm finally posting an entry. So this weekend I saw the movie Super-Size Me. I never want to eat fast food again!! But what am I going to do? I love french fries. And we all know(at least most of know) about my french fry diet. I was doing well for awhile. They even told us how McDonald's makes chicken nuggets. All I have to say is eww. Then, they showed the dude throwing up his food, and it was gross and just thinking about that in my stomach has made me a little sick. But I must go, I'm in Psychology class and we're suppose to be looking up dreams.

OMG! So Fricken Awesome!!

10 Years On, Alanis Unplugs 'Little Pill'

LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - As she neared the 10th anniversary of her landmark album "Jagged Little Pill," Alanis Morissette (news) began pondering how to commemorate the occasion.

She ultimately decided to do it all again. Together with the album's producer/co-writer, Glen Ballard, she is in the middle of recording an acoustic version of the career-defining set.

The as-yet-untitled album will come out on June 13 -- exactly 10 years to the day after the original release. The collection, which will feature the songs in their original order, will include previously unreleased video footage from that era plus different artwork.

In the decade since its release, "Jagged Little Pill" has sold 30 million copies across the globe, according to her label, Warner Music Group's Maverick Records. The album is the best-selling debut by a female artist and the 14th best-selling album ever in the United States, according to the RIAA. It also yielded four Grammys, including album of the year.

The album featured a number of hits, many of which are still in recurrent rotation on adult top 40 stations, including "You Oughta Know," "Hand in My Pocket," "You Learn," "Head Over Feet" and "Ironic."

and so on and so forth, blah, blah, blah.....anyways

WOOOHOOOOO!!!! Yay! Yahoo! Yippeee!

Jagged Little Pill is probably the only album that I can say is my all-time favorite. Any other is making too large a committment/sacrifice. But I love this one THAT much. It was also the first CD I ever owned, so we have a special bond. This is so wierd, cause all last week I was playing it in my car, and thinking, dang, I need a new one, this one is scratched to hell. So now, I CAN get a new one! A new acoustic one AND the original. It's like TWINS!!!!

Is anyone else excited for me?

You know what's sad?

When the only posts that are in the blog recently are from me, from work. Isn't that sad? Crap, now I have a song from Chicago in my head....and that's good, isn't it Grand?, Isn't it Great!?, Isn't it Swell?, isn't it fun (credit-Roxie Hart)...yeah,uhhh. Anyways. Where was I going with this again?

I have no idea. SO! Um, note to self...upon my returnance (is that a word?) --CRAP! Now I have "Return to sender" in my head (credit-Elvis)---to Loup City, we need to remember to get "supplies"....ice cream, lots of syrups and sugar filled, non-fat free goodies, umm chicky flickies, and ...tissues? I swear there was some other stuff.

And also, on a side note, Maggie won the HelpSteph! suggestion game. My imaginary website will now be titled "The Online Lunch Table...for all your Puerto Rican needs" as it fits the central idea/theme of the website best. Although I DEEPLY appreciate all who participated, and thank you all for your expeditious (fancy for swift..which is fancy for quick) responses :)

Okay, you babes of jazz. Let's pick up the pace.
Let's shake the blues away. Let's make the parties longer.
Let's make the skirts shorter and shorter. Let's make
the music hotter. Let's go to hell in a fast car and
KEEP IT HOT!
